Detecting and sequencing bacteria and bacterial communities

Project Description

Harbor

The Great Lakes Genomics Center can help you with your bacterial analyses, either whole genome sequencing using the Illumina Mi-Seq, sequencing of microbial populations using the Mi-Seq, or quantitative PCR to identify the presence of a particular gene and it’s frequency in a set of samples. In the near future we will also have complimentary sequencing technologies that will help to elucidate hard to read regions of the bacterial genome. We are currently running samples from academic researchers as well as government and for profit industries. Please contact us to discuss your project needs so we can begin to assist you.
