StepOnePlus RT-PCR

The OneStepPlus real time quantitative PCR system uses fluorescent-based PCR to provide quantitative detection of target nucleic acid sequences with real time analysis. The LED – based four color optical system reads fluorescence from FAM™⁄SYBR® Green, VIC®⁄JOE™, NED™⁄TAMRA™, and ROX™ dyes. This technology has many applications including SNP genotyping, gene expression analysis, gene detection, and viral load analysis. Absolute and relative quantification, presence/absence, and standalone melt curve analysis and high resolution melting analysis methods are also available with the StepOnePlus.

New users must be trained by GLGC staff.

The StepOnePlus is available for use by researchers or as a service provided by the Genomics Center for a fee.

*UW System Users – No Fee
